Whatever happens in Vegas Market….needs to be shared! Highlights from the NoMad Hotel, Design West, and the latest and greatest in furniture, lighting and accessories from the best interior design brands in home furnishings. All topped off by an incredible panel discussion on the future of design, and a book signing for our 2nd Edition of Green Interior Design.
NOMAD HOTEL
The absolute best part of the room was the flooring, which made this hospitality design feel much more residential. It was a sweet relief to see wood floors and no wall to wall Vegas-style carpeting in the guest rooms and suites!
The NoMad Library Bar and Restaurant design left us with an open jaw – to the floor! Soaring 30 foot high, floor-to-ceiling bookcases, surrounded the tables while you watched your waiter put on a tuna tarter show table side.
As much as we would’ve loved to stay at NoMad all weekend, I had work to do. Fun work! I was so excited to head over to the Las Vegas Market, to join a panel discussion on all things Interior Design.
DESIGN PANEL + BOOK SIGNING
Design West hosted a panel discussion where I joined fellow top interior designers Breegan Jane and Chris Barret, moderated by Jane Dagmi of Designers Today. We talked about sustainability, the way designers are shopping for furniture these days, and the future of the design industry.
It was so lovely to share the stage with these ladies! We had an authentic conversation, and ultimately came to a realization that home offices and sweat pants are the most productive way to work! Sara Plaisted and I have been doing that for over 10 years!

Las Vegas Market really stepped up the entertainment 1,000 notches with Grammy Award Winning One Republic, in what felt like a private show – with only a few thousand people.
